Back to Back is a collection of written work that shows how people from other countries explore and research a new country to articulate a message from what they found. The book is split into two parts; The first is highlighting articles written by PhD students from the Bauhaus University of Weimar and their experience within the city and partnership with Filter Detroit. The second half of the book is from the experience of myself and Lauren Willis, students from CCS who traveled to Den Haag, Netherlands. Here, we also explored the city and then documented our findings. This book brings to light the connections between two experiences with completely different people. Made in collaboration with Lauren Willis.
