The concept of Rail was inspired by the railroad. This typeface is meant to remind people of the beauty that the railroad can create within the tracks. The forms were created directly from actual railroad tracks. The typeface expands into three different fonts where the 'tracks' get more and more complex. The fonts are named accordingly to Urban, Suburban and Rural. From this project, the detailed and complex art of crafting a typeface were learned.
